Thank-You Note

[Proper headings, dates, and indentation will appear on all correspondence.]

Dear Annette,

Your delightful package arrived yesterday afternoon. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in sending such marvelous and useful things for our new home. You've spoiled us--which doesn't bother us a bit!

The set of coffee cups is now prominently displayed in the glass cabinets in the kitchen. Alex and I used two of them for the first time this morning. They're so beautiful, and we love the weight of them as we're drinking. We'll definitely be using them often. We can't wait for you to try them out with us when you visit next month.

The picture frame is absolutely exquisite. Art glass is so unique and very much our taste. We've placed one of our wedding photos in it. I hope you'll be pleased when you see which one we've chosen.

Thanks also for pillowcases. You have the best memory! I have always been drawn to the crisp, elegant texture of white linen with lace trim. I can't wait to use them!

Again, Alex and I are so grateful for your kindness in thinking of us as we settle into our new home. We are so looking forward to showing you this place in a few weeks. Expect to be spoiled in return! We'll be waiting for you at the door when you pull up. In the meantime, we send all our love and thanks.

Jen and Alex
