Dear Sir or Madame: On the seventh of this month, I placed a morning order through your online floral shop. I requested your same-day delivery service, hoping to surprise a friend for her birthday. At the end of the day, I discovered an email from you saying that my order had been cancelled because the specified bouquet could not be created for the advertised cost. I was further informed that I should re-order the same bouquet at a higher price. Not only did my friend fail to receive the flowers I had hoped and expected to offer her on her special day, I was left with a very unfortunate impression of your business practices. Consequently, I am writing to express my concerns and to request that you put this matter right. Dear Sir or Madame: Recently I began intensive genealogical research of my mother's family. Bearing the last name Barton, they are reputed to have lived in the state of Massachusetts since the early-eighteenth century. I seek your assistance in my endeavor to verify this claim.
